Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This page is maintained by Petra Limited (operating Lead Elevated) to explain how we handle personal information collected through this website — specifically the contact form and the diagnostic assessments that capture your email in exchange for a scored result. This policy is written to reflect our obligations under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Who we are
Petra Limited is a Toronto, Canada-based consulting practice. For the purposes of this policy, Petra Limited is the accountable organization. Questions about this policy or requests related to your personal information can be sent to hello@petraltd.com.
Information we collect
- Contact form submissions: your name, work email, company, role, area of interest, message, and the timestamp of your submission.
- Diagnostic assessments: your name, work email, company, role, and the answers and score you generated on the Data Readiness or Revenue Readiness assessment.
- Consent record: where you check the box confirming you'd like to be contacted, we record that consent alongside your submission.
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or sensitive categories of personal information through this website.
Why we collect it (purpose)
- To respond to your inquiry and, where you've requested it, follow up about our services.
- To return your diagnostic result and any calibrated recommendation tied to your score.
- To keep an internal record that a request was received and how it was handled.
We will not use your information for a materially different purpose without asking you first, and we do not sell personal information.
Consent (PIPEDA & CASL)
We rely on your express consent — the checkbox on the contact form and the act of submitting a diagnostic — to contact you about your inquiry. That consent covers commercial electronic messages directly related to what you asked about. Every email we send in that thread includes an unsubscribe path; replying "unsubscribe" or emailing hello@petraltd.com will remove you from any further contact.
How we store and share it
Submissions from this website are delivered by email to hello@petraltd.com and held in that mailbox and our internal records. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with service providers strictly to operate our business (for example, our email provider) and only to the extent needed for that service. If a legal obligation requires disclosure, we will comply with the narrowest request that satisfies the law.
Retention
We retain contact form and diagnostic submissions for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us so we can follow up meaningfully, and then we delete or anonymize them. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a limited record for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent and ask us to delete your information (subject to legal exceptions).
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we've mishandled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@petraltd.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We aim to respond within 10 business days.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies required to serve pages and remember your session. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
Changes to this policy
We'll post updates to this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that affect how we contact existing subscribers will be communicated directly.
